Centennial Defense Academy is a Firearm Training Facility focused on instructing and assisting those individuals interested in learning or improving their Practical/Tactical shooting skills. 

NRA Courses are offered in Basic Pistol, Rifle, or Shotgun, Personal Protection in the Home, Metallic Reloading, Range Safety Officer, and Home Firearm Safety. 

NRA Course: Personal Protection Outside the Home is now being offered at Centennial Defense Academy.  This is the most advanced training course offered by the NRA.  Please see the details of this course under Course Descriptions.  Instructor Training is also available for this course in a 4-Day format. 

Other Advanced Courses, (Not NRA Courses), offered include: Basic Defensive Handgun Skills, Out-of-Position Shooting, Low-Light/Night Shooting. Other Courses to be added shortly.

CCW COURSES

For those individuals planning to carry concealed the academy offers an in depth course, Advanced Concealed Carry.  This course offers much more than just a basic pistol class that earns you a certificate to apply for a concealed carry license.  If you carry concealed The Draw is very important, an item not covered in a basic pistol course.  Laws, relating to concealed carry and the use of deadly force, an item not covered in a basic pistol course.  Live-fire tactical scenarios, simulated street confrontations, are not covered in a basic pistol course etc., etc.  If you carry concealed be Qualified not just Certified.  Outside the home, on the street in the general public, confrontations can occur very quickly, will be at close range, most generally happen at night, be quite violent, and be over very quickly.  Because of this, specialized training in self-defense, use of a firearm in self-defense, and the laws governing use of deadly force, should be of great concern to anyone considering concealed carry.  CDA's Advanced Concealed Carry Course will teach this necessary Knowledge and the Skills to carry concealed.
